As a Senior, Data Analysis candidate, we are looking for a talented and highly motivated strategic thinker that has a deep knowledge of analytics and understands the paid video industry.
This role requires senior level experience, with experience in Data Gathering and Analysis, operational knowledge of DIRECTV products is a bonus.
In this role youll use expert skills in reporting and analytics to bring together a variety of data sources and apply intelligent analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the right data to be analyzed to explain or predict Sales and Quality performance.
Additionally, you will be required to be engaged with the channel leaders, operations team, product team, and many others to properly identify the root cause and create a plan to close the gap.
This role has leadership visibility, you will be expected to build PowerPoint presentations in addition to presenting in front of leadership.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of data to identify relationships and trigger points that influence performance Creates, monitors, and explains critical business metrics by collecting data from various systems, exploring and synthesizing that data into valuable insights Tells the story using data for sales and/or performance results by: Combining multiple data sets, determining the best approach and variables Drilling to the root cause through analysis and business knowledge Creating and delivering presentations to leadership Develops reports, charts, tables and other visual aids in support of findings.
Advises business partners of findings to recommend business direction or outcomes Build a vast support network across the channels and support team Background/Qualifications: 5+ years related experience in analytics, reporting, dashboarding, forecasting, ad hoc analysis Expertise at aggregating and synthesizing data into insights, utilizing analysis and data visualization to tell a data story.
Expertise in SQL, data sets, data mining, and data visualization tools Expertise in MS Office suite Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, must be capable of explaining complex information to others in straightforward and executive manner Recommend solutions to improve performance based on analysis Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills Additional Functional Skills / Competencies associated with this Title: Business Case Development Business Statistics Data Gathering and Analysis Effectiveness Measurement Process Management Quality Management Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Six Sigma DMAIC Methodology is a plus Education: Preferred Bachelors degree in a related discipline Ready to join our team?
