Job Title: Senior SAP BI Specialist
Job Duties:
- Lead design and development of SAP Business Intelligence Systems, creating BI solutions to enhance business management.
- Drive process improvements across the BI landscape and perform root cause analysis for application/process defects.
- Provide guidance on new BI solutions and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build reporting tools, dashboards, and data generators.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to produce required data elements.
- Manage internal and external BI team activities, assigning work and mentoring resources.
- Lead design sessions for BI data models and ETL components.
- Build reports using Bex query designer and Web Intelligence.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform system functionality tests.
- Create/modify authorizations and roles, set up new users with necessary permissions.
- Participate in product reviews, tests, and pilots.
- Prepare status reports and maintain effective communication with management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, Computer Science, or related field.
- Eight (8) years of Business Intelligence experience in SAP BW with a focus on non-HANA databases.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP BW, SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Experience with ABAP for data transformations, custom data sources, and utility programs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, Computer Science, or related field.
- Ten (10) years of BI experience in SAP BW with a focus on non-HANA databases.
- Experience with multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
- Experience in SAP HANA.
