The Project Manager will play a critical role in developing and fine-tuning the strategy and designs for future centers, as well as ensuring buildouts stay on schedule and openings run smoothly for each location.

The ideal candidate will have experience opening subsequent locations of an ongoing business such as a daycare, private school, medical office or similar business.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like: Explore options for new center locations using data to estimate business impact and potential growthCoordinate with CEO and real estate broker to tour, evaluate, and negotiate leases for potential new locationsIdentify desired layout of new centers to support unique business needs and space optimization to pave the way for official architectural designCommunicate and collaborate with construction managers, building engineers, and local permitting offices to ensure timely and successful buildouts according to safety guidelines and business needsDevelop budgets and track financials to ensure buildouts follow company financial plansMonitor progress of center buildouts with detailed timelines and communicate updates with administrative teamHire and partner with a variety of contractors including security, phone/internet, signage, movers, furniture dealers, and others to ensure new centers are fully functioning and equipped for new staff and clients Coordinate opening of new centers by ensuring therapy materials, furniture, technology, and other items are prepared for staff and clients to beginConduct and attend team meetings as scheduledOther job-related duties and responsibilities assigned by the CEOWho You Are & What You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in business management, healthcare, education, or related field preferred7 years of project management experience in the healthcare or education field preferredExperience managing the establishment of subsequent locations of an ongoing business such as a daycare, private school, medical office or similar business requiredExperience working with architects, landlords, building engineers, construction managers, and permitting offices preferredExperience developing and adhering to budgets requiredAbility to travel between center locations and scout out new properties within the Maryland, Virginia, and DC areaReliable transportation and a valid driver’s licenseProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Must submit to a federal and state background checkYou Will Be A Great Fit If You Have: Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement creative solutionsAbility to collaborate with a wide variety of professionals and build trusting relationshipsAbility to manage complex timelines and follow-ups to ensure task completionAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyClose attention to detail and an eye for consistency Excellent judgment and comfort with voicing potential problems and concernsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong leadership and management qualitiesStrong organizational skillsFlexibility in a changing day-to-day schedule and frequent travelPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of timeAbility to bend, reach, and grasp objectsAbility to safely operate a motor vehicle for travel to multiple sitesWhat You Will Gain By Joining Our Team:Medical HSA, Dental, and Vision coverage through Cigna401(k) plan with company match.Short-Term Disability (100% Employer-Paid) & Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramTerm-Life/AD InsuranceWhole Life InsuranceCritical Illness with Cancer InsuranceAccident InsuranceHospital Confinement InsuranceBonuses based on individual and company performance3 weeks of paid time off plus 9 paid holidaysNote: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
