The Contracts and Compliance Manager will provide internal support for operations, legal, business development, and executive staff.
This position will provide expertise and administrative support in reviewing and interpreting contract details/requirements, insurance, and compliance requirements.
This position will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local government rules and regulations regarding new and ongoing business administration requirements.
Requirements Position Responsibilities/Role Competencies: Work with Chief Operating Officer and the Chief of Staff to ensure appropriate internal processes in the areas of pre
– and post-contract award are developed and implemented.
Assist Chief of Staff in coordination and completion of all necessary business certifications and registrations.
Assist with all corporate and program operations and division priorities as needed on billable projects or otherwise.
Ensure insurance certificates and requirements are up to date and submitted per contract requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and departments, providing the skills and strategies necessary to help business units deliver on contractual obligations.
Collaborate with the Business Development and Marketing Divisions in support of requests for information (RFI), requests for quotes, (RFQ) requests for proposal, (RFP) sources sought, receipt of other official government or client requests for information, and status of award contracts.
Conduct management of full life-cycle contract management in partnership with other stakeholders.
Pre-award functions include market research support, contract evaluations, providing contractual guidance, and proposal support guidance.
Post-award functions include contracts administration, contracts actions (i.e., modifications), and contract closeout.
Prepare and maintain departmental files containing all contracts, proposals, and purchase orders.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support business development, executive staff, operations, and administrative staff.

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience: Paralegal experience/certificate.
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.
Experience in emergency management and federal, state, and local government contracts.
Industry certifications.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience: Advanced to expert level knowledge and experience with federal contracts.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Strong professional relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral, written, listening, and presentation skills.
Highly organized, detail oriented.
Must have strong knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations that govern the government contracts area.
Ability to travel nationwide as business needs dictate.
5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
Advanced experience in contract preparation, revision, and management.
Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, or similar.
Equivalency: Professional experience beyond minimum requirements, in a related field may substitute the bachelors degree on a year for year basis.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed, including after hours and on weekends.
Sitting or standing for hours at a time.
Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time if needed.
Occasional lift, carry, bend, stoop and reaching required.
Mobility around office and client sites.
Remote home office.
Requires ability to support an Emergency Management Environment including work on weekends and/or holidays to support an Emergency Management Environment.
All ACDC positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire.
If the remote work site locations changes, ACDC HR must be made aware and leadership needs to approve any site changes for business registration and payroll tax purposes.
All ACDC positions require travel to client sites or for emergency activations/deployments, as requested by leadership.
