Project Manager/Coordinator
MOEV Inc. (http://www.moevinc.com), an exciting high-tech startup in Los Angeles that has developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) software focused on
smart management of electric vehicle (EV) fleet charging, has an opening for a full-time project position that combines the role of project manager
and general administrator to coordinate activities including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Reporting – Ensure that all deliverables and reports to the sponsor are submitted on time. Work with project participants (that includes partners, customers, suppliers, vendors and the sponsor) and the MOEV team on writing and putting together reports which includes deliverables/milestones for the sponsor as required by the project.
  • Coordinating installation and construction – Coordinate and schedule installation of EV chargers and other equipment at customer site. Coordinate installation schedules with installers and charging depot / site-host which includes visiting the site and potentially other local reference installations. Contact potential electric and construction contractors, meet with them to explain project scope, and obtain quotations. Support MOEV leadership on decision-making for installer selection.
  • Invoicing – Ensure that timely invoices are submitted to the sponsor. Ensure that invoices from partners, suppliers, and vendors are collected and integrated with MOEV’s invoices to sponsor.
  • Meetings – Attend meetings as requested by MOEV leadership. Coordinate meetings with project participants, suppliers, and sponsors as needed.
  • Payments – Track payments from the sponsor and if payments are delayed to work with sponsors in completing payments.
  • Schedule management – Keep track of schedules, milestones, deliverables. Inform leadership of any issues with meeting the schedules.
  • Reimbursement – Manage reimbursements for employees and staff.
  • Prepare financials – Supporting accountants for tax returns.
  • Manage calendar/schedule – Supporting business functions for company leadership including managing calendars/meetings with partners/customers/suppliers.
  • Schedule visitor meetings – Related to project and company.
  • General office operations – Fill in the needs for general office operations as required in a startup company.
  • Vendor interaction – Request information from vendors as needed by the project such as EV charger specifications from charger manufacturers.
  • Data and information gathering – Gather data and information on project related items from the fleet depot as requested by the leadership.

We are looking for a candidate who is diligent, detail oriented, a team player, can work collaboratively in a small startup environment, is willing to learn, is comfortable with finances, schedules, operations, and, interacting with multiple persons and entities. Bachelor’s degree is required. This is a full-time position that includes benefits. Starts immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
