We are a 30 year old Business Management Firm (CPA Firm) working with artists, actors, comedians, directors, entertainment companies, and high net worth individuals.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Performs day-to-day full charge bookkeeping functions for clients.
Essential Functions:
Review mail, receipts, and emails.
Document / scanning management.
Inputs information provided by client in the form of invoices, bills, checks or other registers.
Client and Vendor liaison.
Perform check runs.
Prepare general ledger coding and journal entries.
Review and approve clients’ accounts payable invoices.
Accounts Receivable (including deposits, wire transfer preparation, etc.).
Prepare cash flow balance and transaction reports.
Review insurance policy documents.
Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by clients and partners.
Process clients’ payrolls.
Month-end and Quarter-end duties include compilation of financials, sales tax and payroll tax returns.
Reviews 1099’s and W-2’s prepared for clients.
Nonessential Functions:
Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by accountants, managers or partners.
Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/scanners, and ‘smart’ conference rooms.

Requirements:
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Working knowledge of Datafaction and Imaging Software (Agilink a bonus!).
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
Ability to operate ten-key calculator, computer, and other general office equipment.
Knowledge of computerized accounting, but must be able to complete a manual set of books.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns.
Working Conditions:
In office (this is not a remote position)
Some Overtime throughout the year including December & January.
Occasional same day travel for work at clients’ offices, meetings, and seminars using a personal vehicle.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of two years’ accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports in a Business Management Firm, Accounting Firm or Family Office.
Datafaction and Imaging software experience.
Working Knowledge of MS Office
Must have a valid driver’s license.
