Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Experienced Systems Engineer located in Seal Beach, CA.

The selected candidate will design, develop, and deliver complex state-of-the-art systems across a variety of disciplines for space-based applications for commercial, civil, mil-satcom, and/or national security programs.

You will lead a highly-motivated team that works with domestic or international customers on their latest satellite systems.

Project assignments typically span the complete program life cycle, from internal trades, concept studies and system definition, to satellite development, launch, and on-orbit operations and test.

Candidates will belong to a systems engineering team interacting with customers, suppliers, program management, integration and test engineers, and senior technologists.

Position Responsibilities:Define and mature system architecture.Support technical trade studies as a part of system development.Establish, maintain, and verify system requirements and interface definitions.Support demonstration, integration, and test of hardwareSupport system-level CONOPS development, functional analysis and decomposition.Perform analyses and simulations, as needed for the project.Support system-level integration and validation.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S.

Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics3+ years of experience with space-based applications for mechanical, electrical, RF, and/or digital subsystems Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Strong Architecture Modeling skills (Model based design)Experience in using MBSE toolsExperience using modeling and analysis tools appropriate to subject area (Matlab, Simulink, etc) Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
