With over 500 employees My Alarm Center is headquartered in the greater Philadelphia area with additional offices in GA (Atlanta), TX (Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Tyler), CA (Chatsworth, and WA (Seattle).Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, the ability to partner with department managers to support their needs and advance the departments customer service level, and the ability to work on projects and initiatives alongside the HR Director, as well as manage daily job responsibilities.

The Coordinator will work closely with the Director to implement HR initiatives, evaluate services and employee needs, and contribute to major long-term objectives such as the engagement and retention of employees.

This role will touch all elements of the employee life cycle.What You’ll DoNew Hire On-BoardingConducts on-boarding of new hires including coordination of new hire paperwork and orientation meetings and all onboarding input such as I-9s and computer or software systems/email set-up.

Provides an oversight of benefits to all new hires and a full Paycom introduction and step by step instruction/tutorial on most relevant topics.Creates and maintains employee personnel profile in Paycom and personnel folder for accurate records, reports and files in Paycom and hard copy.

HRIS SupportActs as a technical point-of-contact for Paycom.

Interacts with Corporate HRIS Analyst to ensure development of a knowledge of system functions, supporting the launch of new features, testing system changes, training employees on basic functions, and providing report writing.Works with the My Alarm Center HRIS Analyst to assure all systems changes are rolled out across ACS.General HR SupportWorks with the HR Director to support the roll-out of Corporate HR initiatives such as benefits open enrollment, training programs and employee engagement.Assists in the planning and execution of events such as birthday and holiday celebrations, staff engagement activities, and management leadership meetings.Responds to reference checks and verification of employment status.Serves as first point of contact for all benefits inquiries and serve as liaison between employees and corporate HR or benefits vendors.Backs up the recruiting efforts as needed PayrollProcesses attendance records such as call off sheets and manual timecardsChecks employee payroll and timecard information for completeness, accuracy and ensures all related back up documents and paperwork are in order.Coordinates with HR Director and corporate payroll for changes in payroll (e.G., salary increases, new hires).Answers employee questions about payroll and paychecks.Provides reports to upper management upon request.Distributes and mails paystubs.

General SupportMaintains knowledge of BSIS record keeping and requirements for employees in patrol, service, and sales.

Reviews BSIS required licensing for guards, dispatchers, technicians, and sales representatives and notifies management and employees of upcoming expirations.What You will Need to SucceedBachelors degree in Human Resources preferred or Associates degree and related work experience.5+ years experience in administrative HR roleMust have strong MS Office experienceStrong HRIS experience, Paycom strongly preferredStrong organizational/planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage shifting responsibilities.Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with a diverse employee population and work effectively across all levels of the organization.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Working knowledge of office equipment.Self-starter with the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.The ability to meet deadlinesMust conduct all business with a high level of integrity and trust, upholding the companys ethical and professional standards and maintain confidential information.Ability to work in person 4-5 days a week in our Chatsworth office, as we are an essential businessthis is not a remote roleAbility to drive to our Bel Air location during the day 2-3x a month Great People, Deserve Great BenefitsAt ACS, our employees and their welfare are very important to us.
