Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist

– EXPERIENCED Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist needed.

Individuals should have strong teamwork and communication skills; be able to work as a team in busy work environment; can follow written and verbal directions, able to multi-task and use a computer, be able to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, maneuver for long duration of time; and able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Veterinary Assistants must be able to perform in-house labs, administer medications, restrain patients, prepare patients for surgery, monitor during surgery and post-op recovery, be able to read medical records and perform tasks based on Doctor’s notes, fill medications and be able to discuss them with clients.

Must be customer service oriented A good client experience and client retention is our goal.

Therefore, the ideal candidate must be friendly, knowledgeable, and able to communicate effectively.
