Mechanical Engineer

nnWe’re looking for a highly motivated mechanical engineer to join ournn nnhigh-performance team at the cutting edge of electric space propulsion!

We design andnn nnmanufacture electric propulsion systems for modern satellites and spacecraft.

Our thrusters willnn nnbe used in Low Earth Orbit, Medium Earth Orbit, Geostationary Orbit, Lunar missions, andnn nnbeyond.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team of mechanical engineers, propulsionnn nnengineers, machinists, electrical engineers, and technicians to bring designs to life.

Newnn nnprograms come in frequently.

You will be the primary contributor on a team that develops newnn nnsystems/modules and executes on programs quickly and precisely.nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities: nn nn
● Oversee propulsion system module designs including:nn nn○ Design and placement of thrusters, pneumatics, tanks, tubing and bracketrynn nn○ Generate 3-D models, fully dimensioned component drawings, assembly drawings,nn nnand interface control documents with application of GD&T per ASME Y14.5nn nn○ Mechanical and thermal analysisnn nn○ Documentation (assembly procedures, process control, inspection, etc.)nn nn○ Design and certify mechanical systems that meet customers and ournn nnrequirements.nn nn
