JOB SUMMARY As part of the application development team, this candidate will facilitate oversight, standardization and validation of our application strategy, implementation, and processes as well as work with related infrastructure areas on delivering business solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy and Architecture Responsible for providing senior level decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise overall systems architecture.

Leads IT strategic planning efforts.

Performs assessments of the current state of Aprias enterprise application portfolio.

Collaborates with cross functional IT areas, including but not limited to: Application Development, Infrastructure, Security, Network and Telecom to define application architecture, strategies and roadmaps.

Evaluate tools and technologies for future state architecture and evolving business requirements.

Sets enterprise application standard, architectural guidelines, technology policies and procedures.

Develop and maintain an integration architecture blueprint for the organization.

Research and make recommendations on integration, third party products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.

Oversee development and integration of software and applications under development to identify and remedy potential problem areas and align with technical specifications Application Design Interfaces with management and users to determine overall Information Technology application requirements.

Work with vendors, internal development and infrastructure teams to design and develop pilot applications, proof of concept and prototyping as needed.

Conduct technical research, analysis and use cases on emerging technologies and tools in accordance to meeting overall Information Technology objectives.

Participate in business case development, project sizing, design and implementation.

Evaluate results of project technical outcomes then report and make recommendations based on findings.

Provide guidance to development team members.

Operational Support Provide support as new systems/platforms are deployed to the enterprise Collaborate within and across teams to establish and document best practices in various technology areas Liaison with software engineers/developers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and data processing Performs other duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A Minimum Required Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

Has 8 years of IT and business/industry work experience in an enterprise wide solution architecture.

Vendor management experience.

Experience in tool evaluation and documenting recommendations.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines/processes.

Broad technical expertise in multiple disciplines such as conceptual design creation, system integration, data analytics, infrastructure, security, identity management and cloud technologies.

Able to communicate complex technical solutions effectively to Senior Management and Business Stakeholders.

Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align research findings with business needs and IT roadmap.

Must be a visionary who can translate business needs, challenges and requirements into solutions that deliver value to the organization.

Individual must be able to envision the future state and execute the companys plans to achieve it.

Preferred: Strong background in the following areas: Previous work experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE), Healthcare Organizations and Direct Messaging capabilities.

Strong knowledge of Transitional HL7 messaging/integration (ADT and clinical messaging) and X12 messaging.

Electronic Health Record interoperability.

Integrations and Service Oriented Modeling SaaS, PaaS, Cloud architecture JAVA, UNIX, Webservices, API, SFTP, XML, HTML Version Control, Code Repository, Rules Based tools Dev/Ops Experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations N/A Computer Skills Intermediate skills in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal) Mathematical Skills Intermediate level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder.

This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
