Mackenzie Stuart is working in close partnership with a market leading Food & Beverage Manufacturer. The organisation is looking for a Vice President of Logistics, specialising in International Supply Chain Solutions for a role based in Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop operational plans and strategies to help drive long-term company and growth and provide operational continuity
- Manage strategic operations across an international supply chain of warehouses, transportation networks and distribution hubs
- Identify and prioritize logistics and warehouse needs and communicate recommendations to senior management
- Develop solutions that leverage the firms volume and partnership that ensure cost efficiencies and service quality targets are met
- Develop and sustain relationships with strategic carriers across North America and Internationally
- Mitigate risk potential to the business by ensuring capacity needs are forecasted and planned
- Utilize technology to drive process improvements, implemented new systems to help drive business growth and scalability
- Work alongside commercial and operational teams, ensuring all consumer needs are met and to plan
- Promote team growth, identifying future needs and taking active part in the hiring process
- Work with leaders in the organization across multiple offices to organize and implement new processes as needed
To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:
- Candidate must have some form of Food & Beverage and/or Logistics & Supply Chain experience
- Must possess a thorough understanding of supply chain and transportation methods/modes, cost structures, service requirements, tariffs, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal
- Must be based in Vernon, LA, California
- 10+ years previous employment within industry
- Bachelor?s degree is essential
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Must be fluent in English both orally and written, ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
- Proven track record of leading teams, achieving objectives and personnel development
The expected salary for this role is between USD$130K – $150K with a performance bonus in place.
