Description:Apply Today!Applicants that meet qualifications will receive a text with some additional questions from our Modern Hire system.Please upload a current resume reflecting all relevant professional experience.Providence is calling a Cardiology Technician II (Full-Time/Day Shift) to Providence Facey Medical Foundation in Porter Ranch, CAWe are seeking a Cardiology Technician II who will perform diagnostic electrocardiograph examinations to include electrocardiograms, late potential studies, treadmill exercises tests, holter monitors, applications/scanning of ambulatory ECG Monitors, pulmonary function testing, and assists with scheduling ECHO and Doppler testing that will be performed on site and prepares and provides outside service proper documents.In this position you will:Deliver upon the service expectations of both our patients and fellow staff members by listening to their needs; engaging in positive interactions; and following through on promises made in a thoughtful, efficient, timely and courteous manner so that their total outcome is better than expected.Respect the dignity, confidentiality and privacy of patientsWork in a safe manner, adhering to general safety precautions and standardsReport any unsafe conditions to their supervisor and/or the safety hotlinePerform basic cardiology testing such as, but not limited to, ECG, treadmill, holter monitoring and scanning, pacemaker service and high resolution ECG tests, pulmonary function testingInstruct patients about procedures and assists them into various positions during testingCreate and maintain accurate records of examinationsPrepare paperwork necessary for interpretation by physiciansGenerate charges within billing system for examinations performedAssist in clerical preparation and distribution of examinations performedProcess paperwork relative to examinations and patient filesAssist in developing and maintaining Quality Assurance programAssist with front office duties to include telephone answering/reception and the scheduling of examinations for cardiology, vascular studies and pediatric echoesAble to perform duties of medical assistant job description as neededMaintain timecard and submits changes to supervisorMaintain clean and safe environment within the Cardiology DepartmentKeep equipment clean, in good repair and immediately reports any malfunctionAssist in monitoring department equipment and supply needsMust be available for Code Blue teamQualifications:Required qualifications for this position includes:Current American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers required.Meet all requirements of Medical Assistant IITwo (2) years of Experience as Cardiology TechnicianPreferred qualifications for this position include:Successful completion of basic arrhythmia interpretation courseAbout the hospital you will serve.Facey Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group with over 160 physicians providing care to the growing population in the North & East regions of Los Angeles & Ventura Counties.
