Job Description

We are looking for an emergent design leader highly skilled at crafting exceptional experiences for our Financial Sevice client as they guide diverse teams to deliver those experiences.

This UX Lead will use their driven design prowess and interpersonal charm to lead research exercises, design explorations, and cross-functional development of high-end technology solutions. 

They will motivate their teams to resolve problems in new ways.

They will form bonds with our Financial Service client in LA as an organizational partner and thought leader.

They will lead the creation of design systems that nurture future innovation and sustainability.

They will champion their team’s results while delivering timely and critical feedback. Ensures omnichannel touch points and holistic experiences are customer-centric, cohesive and elevate our brand.

Your Impact:
Guide and organize discovery, research, and data synthesis to identify critical user insights and develop hypotheses to design effective experiences
Possess deep understanding of craft, tools and process 
Propose optimizations and creative approaches to systems that can drive users’ needs 
Deliver high-quality work through managing others
Possess a holistic view of the work to generate realistic goals for their project teams to meet
Clarify and define success metrics for client and business impact
Design detailed solutions that address clear customer needs, business context, client vision, and project KPIs
Lead the creation and facilitation of workshops, structured brainstorms, or other collaboration exercises
Lead collaboration between Experience and Engineering capabilities
Identify and define new opportunities to bring value to FS client engagements
Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience: 
Leading projects from start to finish
Provides strategic design consulting and helps identify opportunities for business growth and customer value.

Defines insight-driven experience design strategy and criteria.
Designs and facilitates human-centered design workshops for cross-functional teams (i.e.

brainstorming, insights-crafting, experience mapping, concept development).
Partners with the Insights + Analytics group to build customer empathy through customer research and synthesis.

Uses methods like experience maps, customer jobs-to-be-done, gallery-walks, customer scenarios and wants-needs analysis. 
Provides design oversight, strategy and direction on large-scale projects and programs.
Builds, maintains, and improves the overall design system to ensure that it meets the needs of designers, developers and other key stakeholders.

Assists in optimizing the design system governance process.
Directs design work and leads associates, contractors and vendor partners in delivering experiences that are useful, usable and elevate our brand.

Directly contributes to design deliverables, as appropriate. 
Ensures design deliverables meet quality and cohesion standards.

Deliverables may include: ad creative, wireframes, comps, brochures, experience maps, user flows, animations, information architecture schematics.
Advances the design function through design education, advocacy and participation in design leadership team projects.
Mentors other designers and provides impactful design critique
