Talent Acquisition Supervisor

Job Summary Responsible for the day-to-day management of their team as well as full lifecycle recruiting for assigned business operating units.

Responsible for building a sustainable pipeline to cultivate the depth and diversity of talent to meet and exceed hiring needs.

Ability to partner with key stakeholders to improve the talent acquisition process, improve the quality of hire and reduce external agency spend.

This is a highly visible role within the organization and takes ownership for the talent acquisition results of their assigned business operating units and their team’s performance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Along with VP of Talent Acquisition, evaluate the use of technology, tools, social media recruiting, sourcing techniques, the overall recruiting process and selection strategies Responsible for the active recruitment for identified roles to attract top talent and develop a strong qualified talent pool for specific business operating unit positions and locations Responsible for the achievement of individual and team performance goals Partner with team members to develop and execute effective sourcing and recruiting strategies Responsibilities to lead and manage a team including annual performance planning Partner with HR Business Partners to conduct staffing needs assessments and developing staffing plans Implement talent acquisition programs specific to your assigned business operating unit that also aligned with the overall enterprise strategy (i.e., internship programs, school career programs, military re-employment programs, etc.) Partner with the on-boarding team to ensure a positive new hire experience Manage contractual relationships with placement agencies, contract recruiters, job boards, job fairs and various internet job search websites Ensure compliance with OFCCP, AAP, EEO, current laws, regulations, and company policy related to recruitment and placement Other duties and Ad hoc reporting as assigned Additional Job Requirements Regular scheduled attendance Time spent traveling

Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises employees in the Talent Acquisition department.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees.

Also responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or related field from four year college or university and five to eight related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 2 years of management Proven experience leading a talent acquisition team including recruiting strategy and metrics management Ability to build and sustain a robust pipeline of talent Experience recruiting for senior level positions Proven expertise in relationship management; strong consultative skills and problem-solving skills Prior experience recruiting for the given assigned business operating unit (examples: pilots, nurses, paramedics, mechanics, corporate employees) Skills Demonstrates high critical thinking and reasoning skills Demonstrates strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment that requires ability to prioritize and multi-task Excellent organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relationships as well as collaboration at all levels Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Ensures effective administration of defined processes and programs Ability to manages resources, efforts, and timelines involved in the development of processes, programs, and projects Supports strategic direction with team motivation and coaching Provides assessments and recommendation for the continuous improvement of talent acquisition Computer Skills Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS systems (UKG preferred) Experience with PowerBI and Smartsheets preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred Compensation This position offers both a base salary and bonus.

The salary range is $80,000
– $100,000 bonus paid quarterly.
