Mgr, (Purchase Order) PO Management is responsible for indirectly managing and collaborating with the Purchasing team to ensure they have the right process, exception management and accountability.

Will be actively involved in the PO process, will be heavily involved in working/collaborating with Vendors and Purchasing partners, and work to develop strategic and new methodologies.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide strong leadership that motivates engagement and commitment with the PO teamOversee the purchase order lifecycle including scope, database management, purchase order creation and final invoice paymentDevelop and implement procedures and process to maximize efficiencies and ensure accuracy with the purchase order lifecycle; document SOPsIdentify new methods to support the cross functional partnersAnalyze and identify opportunities to improve methods; Actively engaged in continuous improvement initiativesAchieve a better and a more efficient replenishment process while guiding the PO group through day to day activitiesTrain and develop associates on improved methods and processes; assist with career mentoring and coaching of junior associatesIdentify skill gaps within the team, support selection procedures, team development, and associate engagement.Provides status and updates on progress of projects and work flow to the leadership team.Other duties as assignedRegular attendance is required for this positionScope (Required)Staff supervision and development — YESDecision making-; provides expert advice; participates in planning dept objectivesTravel – 5%Location— REMOTE
