Shop Supervisor ALL Carolina Crane & Equipment, LLC Raleigh, NC (27617) Position Summary ALL Carolina Crane & Equipment, LLC is seeking a Shop Supervisor for Service & Parts Department.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the overall operations and housekeeping of the shop and shop equipment under the guidance of the Service Manager.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits.
Essential Functions Supervises subordinate employees by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy shop environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
Oversee the activities of subordinate employees with the proper service, repair and maintenance of heavy lift equipment and heavy duty trucks.
Ensure the shop is organized in a manner that maximizes efficiency and productivity.
Monitor and maintain all shop equipment.
Troubleshoots, services and repairs products to meet manufacturer’s specifications, quality standards and productivity requirements.
Manage running costs and maintenance overheads.
Inventory management.
Assume responsibility for Service Department operations in the absence of the Service Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
