Service Mapping Consultant

Cognizant is seeking a strong Service Mapping Consultant for an immediate need.

This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

Job Description : Conduct Service Mapping Workshops & drive the questionnaire Manage/ Update parameters upon changes Service Mapping of the business Services Following CSDM model to map the business services and related components Develop Service Mapping patters as required Check the Mid Server load balancing and suggest the scaling Verify the CI identifiers and reconciliation rule Verify the Discovery schedules Experience in Creating , updating and maintaining CMDB’s and other asset / configuration management repositories in a complex IT environment Build solutions around data certifications (if required) for maintaining CI sanity Experience in identifying and tracking CI’s, implementing change control and accounting for discovered / manual CI’s in a complex IT system Managing CMDB health to support Assets and Configuration and CI relationship, as coming from discovered sources, manual sources from like relationship data from Network team Interact with the Asset management system to ensure data quality of new or change Asset records Ensure data integrity both from the ownership and discovery standpoints ***Cognizant is recognized as a Military Friendly Employer and is a coalition member of the Veteran Jobs Mission.
