Job Requisition ID #21WD49874Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated tax professional who loves U.S. International Tax to join our world class tax team. In this role you will play a critical part in the U.S. international aspects of Autodesk s tax provision and compliance with a team where #TaxIsCool. As a member of the tax team in the broader Finance organization, you will bring subject matter expertise and work amongst a high performing awesome team with leaders who encourage growth opportunities to explore the whole spectrum of tax.ResponsibilitiesOwn the overall impact of deemed inclusions, applicable TCJA calculations, and foreign tax credits to the quarterly and annual income tax provision and articulate this impact with sensitivity analysis to leadershipManage US international portion of US tax compliance for the Company s non-U.S. entities, including Form 5471, 1118, 8858, etc. and required disclosures for various transactionsSupport U.S. international tax audit defense and tax notices & inquiriesManage SOX control testing and maintain SOX documentation and processes related to U.S. international taxationResearch and monitor issues and changes in U.S. international taxAnalyze business & operating strategies and advise on the application of US International tax lawsWork with Tax Planning team on U.S. international tax implications on transactions, including M&A diligence/ integration/ purchase accountingAd hoc tax projects as required or as neededIdentify and support tax technology and process improvement initiativesMinimum QualificationsCPA and/or Masters in Taxation preferred10 + years with a combination of major public accounting firm and technology industry experienceStrong technical knowledge and practical experience dealing with U.S. international tax issues for multinational corporationsStrong accounting and analytical skills with ability to research tax law and apply relevant tax law to specific fact patternsMust be detail-oriented and organized and be able to multi-task and work independentlyStrong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels within the organizationAble to work with tax software OneSource and strong excel skillsKnowledge and experience with data analytics tool such as Alteryx is a plusAbility to demonstrate strategic thinking, promote innovation and continuous learningProven ability to collaborate, communicate, and manage complexity in simultaneous projectsAt Autodesk, we”re building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
