About the Role: Our client is currently seeking an Irrigation Water Market Manager.
This position will oversee the global irrigation water strategy.
The Irrigation Water Market Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development.
Essential Functions : * Oversee global commercial strategy and P&L of agriculture & horticulture business* Manage global expansion in Agriculture & Horticulture * Identify and develop critical assets necessary for growth in Agriculture & Horticulture including product development roadmap* Liaison with regional sales teams and provide guidance on how to succeed in agriculture & horticulture segment, provide guidance for expansion through distributors and partners, provide and coordinate case studies and marketing assets* Disseminate best practices across agriculture& horticulture clients around the globe* Build relationships with greenhouse construction, irrigation distributors, and consulting companies* Manage multinational distributors * Oversee IP development and abstracts* Identify and oversee grant applications* Oversee knowledge library of companies impact on agriculture & horticulture Qualifications : * 10+ years experience in agriculture / horticulture * Bachelor?s Degree, major in agronomy, biology, plant physiology, chemistry preferred * Traditional agronomy / horticultural education.
Need to have a strong fundamental knowledge of agronomy and plant physiology.
* Deep pre-existing relationships with greenhouses, distributors, consultants, and greenhouse construction firms* Experience selling systems or equipment into greenhouses (both marketing and sales experience) * Fluent in English (spoken and written)* Proficient in Spanish and/or Dutch a plus (spoken and written)* Excellent communication and writing skills* Excellent organizational and project management skills Powered by JazzHR JlnCODac1f
