An opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with previous experience managing wastewater projects to join a national privately held engineering consulting firm in their Los Angeles office. In this position, you will be the main point of contact for the planning and design of wastewater projects in CA and assist with business development activities for our California clients. This firm has been providing water services in California for many years.Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager on municipal wastewater services projects in the greater Southern CA region.Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our wastewater treatment planning and design capabilities.Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed.Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others in the office.Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing in the region.Participation in professional societies relevant to the industry.Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients’ organizations.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil, environmental or chemical engineeringProfessional engineering (PE) license15 years of related experienceCertification/License RequirementsProfessional EngineerPreferred QualificationsCurrent professional engineering license in the state of California strongly preferred.Prior experience managing wastewater projects Previous experience working on and managing wastewater projects for municipal clients. Previous experience managing multi-discipline project teams.Excellent communication, networking, and team building skills.Previous experience working directly with California municipal water clients.
