Senior Project Manager – Retail – 100% Remote

This role can sit 100 Remote for the right candidate. For the client, ideally they would like someone who can sit in NYC or Toronto. Second choice would be for someone who resides in the Northeast and can travel in after COVID. They will however consider candidates outside of the Northeast. These roles are permanent positions but some candidates may be considered for contract to perm. The PMO Project manager (PM) is a key project delivery role at our client. As a member of the PMO organization – the PM is responsible to deliver projects on time and on budget. The PM works closely with the Tech project owner to build the project plan – and to execute that plan with a focus on meeting all time and budget commitments. The PM has a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Project and all PMI knowledge areas and process groups – is effective at providing exec status updates and consistently identifies and remediates risks before they become an issue. The PM will need to work across multiple application teams to ensure cross functional projects are properly organized, structured, tracked, managed, and delivered. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the developmentimplementation of projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of Application Development based projects from the scoping, discovery, estimation, requirements, design, development, testing and finally through a finished state for internalexternal customers. Aids in the management of the project roadmap. Defines project scope and objectives. Partners with the project Business Analyst and Application Development Manager to deliver new features and functionality for banners. Ensures deliverables meet project requirements reviews deliverables with business stakeholders and incorporates feedback. Manages and tracks project financials, including internal staff and external vendors Works with resource managers to ensure resource allocations to projects, identifying areas for staff augmentation, and managing SOWs and invoices are paid for resources in a timely manner Manages 3rd-party relationships as needed. Oversees User Acceptance Testing and final sign-off. Conduct post-mortems on projects and disseminate conclusions to the rest of the team. Additional responsibilities as required. Have extensive experience working with cross functional teams across multiple lines of business Have extensive experience working with and managing 3rdparty vendors. You Also Have A bachelor s degree in information technology or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally in the Retail environment. A minimum of 5-7 years of Leadership experience.
