Farmshop currently seeks a Restaurant Manager to join and lead the management team in our Larkspur location. The best candidate will possess keen leadership skills and share in our commitment to provide a superior guest experience. Some of the requirements for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a similar operation achieving high service standards
- Can lead a team to execute professional steps of food and beverage service
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire both FOH and BOH management teams in every aspect of the day to day operations
- Follows management team member growth and progress through frequent check ins and reviews and other best practices to ensure full engagement and accountability
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high volume, casual fine dining environment
- Manage all recruitment and new hire processes to include onboarding and training programs for FOH
- Ability to embody a positive work culture/strong conflict resolution skills
- Has a comprehensive, high level understanding of HR policy and procedure to ensure compliance relative to appropriate workplace behavior, scheduling/timekeeping, guest experience and safety, etc.
- Experience creating and maintaining an innovative beverage/bar program to include ingredient driven cocktails, thoughtfully curated spirits, California centric wine program, and multi-tap system (beer & wine)
- Oversee in house cash management
- Assist payroll approval process
- Oversee facilities maintenance program: contract cleaning, preventative maintenance contracts, and various R&M projects
- Fluid with industry technology: POS, web based scheduling and invoice management, digital inventory systems, back office intelligence platforms, Google File Stream/Gmail, etc.
