RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Manager shall be responsible for the day to day management of operations on the contract, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, achieving all contract requirements in the timelines dictated by the contract and ensuring the contract is phased in and executed within the budget set in the proposal documents. Assist with the P/L of the program and accountability for financial performance. Assist with setting all policies and directives to ensure good order and discipline of contract employees. Ensure staffing is managed to adequately achieve the contract objectives.
- Staff the contract with certified/qualified employees that meet contract requirements
- Identify processes and procedures to facilitate the efficient execution of work that achieves the highest margins on target and non-target work
- Set policies to ensure good order and discipline on the contract
- Manage workforce to complete all contract requirements
- In conjunction with the Project Director, also serve as main customer point of contact on all contract issues
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Must have 5 years of demonstrated Project Management experience with sole P/L responsibility managing fleet contracts of 1000+ vehicles or larger
- Must have 10 years of progressive operational experience on fleet programs demonstrating progressive leadership experience culminating in at least 5 years at the Project Management level conducting vehicle management and repair services
- Proficiency with MS Office, to include Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
- Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
