We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead Spam and Abuse at Snapchat.
You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and other PM’s to ensure our community feels safe, and when they get a message or a friend request they can be confident it’s not from a bad actor.
In this role you will be designing systems that keep spam off of Snapchat, and systems to keep our friending and messaging systems free of spam.
You’ll work to ensure we are continuously improving our ability to proactively identify threats, by moving detection earlier in the funnel.

What you’ll do:

Develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Spam and Abuse at Snapchat, and communicating that roadmap to the organization

Own performance against key business metrics, and will proactively report progress against those goals

Design anti-spam and anti-abuse systems, including machine learning solutions, and work with engineering teams to improve our ability to prevent and detect spam and abuse

Own features and experiments end-to-end, including writing product specs, driving execution, and sharing insights and results throughout the company

Advise teams across Snapchat to ensure their products can’t be used in malicious ways, and that appropriate preventive measures and mitigations are built into our features and systems from the start.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

Ability to perform product-oriented quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis and using SQL

Minimum Qualifications:
-
BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
-
5+ years of experience building and shipping products at a consumer technology company

Preferred Qualifications:
-
Hands on experience across the entire product lifecycle including: defining product needs, prioritization, pre/post-launch execution

Technical experience in the Spam and Abuse domain

A passion for Snapchat, identity and creative problem solving!
