· Purchase supply of products/raw materials
· Negotiate lowest cost for products/materials
· Must be able to work well with others, comfortable in an office and warehouse working environment
· Receive orders and document arrivals, track and record orders/reconcile
· Manage/Analyze supply base, market base, and delivery systems
· Proficient in all procurement applicable duties, able to respond to internal/external needs and market trends.
· Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs
· Prepare requisitions and purchase orders
· Monitor order expenses/obtain upper Management’s approval on high cost orders
· Communicate performances and costs to management
· Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies
· Organize and schedule procurements proactively in timely manner
· Operate equipment and follow all safety procedures
· Comply to scorecard measurement system to track values
· Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals and build healthy business relationships.
Procurement Job Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor?s degree in procurement, business, finance, or related field
· 3
– 7 years of previous experience in procurement or purchasing
· Experience in industry procedures, costs, and terms
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
· Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
· Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25-30 pounds
· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently * Bilingual English/Spanish is not required but is a huge plus!
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00
