Follow us on Instagram @GTsJobs Requirements: * Experience: 5+ years of experience in Food & Beverage Production, with at least 2 years of people management.

Refrigeration, automation, and PLC experience strongly preferred.

Yogurt/dairy production is preferred.* Education: Bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering or business is preferred.* Systems: ERP system proficiency preferred (Microsoft Dynamics 365).

Microsoft Office proficiency required.* Languages: Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred.* Physical Requirements: Involves constant movement around varying facility environments, occasionally in a hot/wet/humid (80-90°F), cold (20-40°F) and/or loud noise levels.

Ability to frequently lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.

Job Description: The Manager, Operations oversees the day-to-day operations and ensures that each related department is implementing and sustaining employee safety, food safety, highest product quality, and performance standards in accordance with production needs.

This position will identify deficiencies, provide, implement, and sustain solutions, and validate that outcomes meets defined standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Influence and lead a Safety Culture by integrating safety initiatives into department goals and enforcing all GMPs, OSHA/Safety rules, and SOPs, ensuring the highest product quality and consumer safety.* Maintain SQF compliance and prepare team for audits.* Effectively manage cross-functional projects and support partnering departments’ initiatives and programs.* Ensure Key Performance Indicators are met and motivate team to drive results.* Monitor/manage department labor budget and initiatives.* Effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and problem solve mechanical systems/equipment and plant facilities failures/issues.* Perform sensory evaluation of products.* Monitor and ensure product handling and conditioning meets company standards and guidelines.* Understands and determines production, tank schedules, and productivity in accordance with demand planning to minimize changes, loss or downtime.* Understands and supports preventative maintenance programs; partners to plan and coordinate the commissioning of new machinery and optimization of existing machinery.* Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.* Provides direction, development, and leadership to a team of direct and indirect reports in aspects such as allocating resources, solving problems and implementing change.* Oversees and manages plant administration for all government agencies (OSHA, FDA, TTB, etc.).* Models customer service approach when interacting with internal and external customers.
