What You’ll Do as an Organizational Change Management Senior Consultant
Clarkston’s Senior Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultants assist clients in multiple areas related to Organizational Development.
This includes analysis, design and implementation of programs for Organizational Change Management, Communications Planning and Management, and Training.
Senior OCM Consultants work with client stakeholders to determine strategy, schedule, budget, resource management, issue resolution, risk management, status reporting, and program delivery.
Clarkston’s Senior OCM Consultants are adept at executive coaching and recommend strategies to achieve leadership alignment.
Senior OCM Consultants differentiate themselves not just through their subject matter expertise, but also through their depth of expertise in the Life Sciences and Consumer Products industries.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the development of Change Management, Communications, and Learning solutions from requirements gathering to implementation
– Conduct strategic workshops engaging both client leadership and operational staff to assess needs and determine implementation strategies
– Facilitate organizational readiness assessments and create and execute change management plans
– Provide executive coaching to senior leadership
– Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
– Provide leadership to junior business analysts and client personnel assigned to projects
– Advise clients on industry processes and standards as necessary
– Conduct knowledge sharing and serve as a go-to subject matter expert for other company functional staff in support of client project deliverables.
Be available to answer questions that may arise from past or current clients
– Define and develop best practices, solution demonstrations, and functional configurations within the Clarkston Labs environment to support current clients and sales pursuits
– Develop new Clarkston Consulting service capabilities and enhance existing company service capabilities.
Activities may include developing methodologies or tools to support current and prospective clients.
May also develop training materials, conduct knowledge sharing sessions, and contribute to Clarkston’s marketing and/or thought leadership activities

What We’re Looking For
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Psychology or an equivalent discipline required.
– Ten (10) years of prior Organizational Change Management consulting or equivalent industry experience
– Five (5) years of team lead experience directing small project teams.
– One (1) year of experience in the life sciences, consumer products, or retail industries
– Superlative interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of client leadership.
Must have excellent presentation skills and ease at presenting to a variety of audiences.
– Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements and project plans/tasks.
– Excellent team-building, mentoring, and leadership abilities.
– Strong analytical skills and the ability to present and write at publication-quality level to communicate findings and recommendations.
– Achievement oriented and entrepreneurial.
Travel is an integral part of this role and is estimated to average 50-75% and may vary based upon client and project needs.
While travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19 restrictions, all non-essential travel has been limited and any on-site requests are subject to review.
