The Opportunity Silvus Technologies Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager who reports to Production Operations Leadership and is responsible for the overall forecasting planning, procurement, logistics and inventory management to support our rapidly growing business. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position that plays an integral role in the success of our financial and operational goals. Responsibilities Complete ownership of the forecasting planning, procurement of materials, logistics and inventory management, ensuring on-time delivery to meet production requirements and customer ship dates. Review, maintain, and improve the material planning tools (MRP, excel reports, Gsheets, etc…), determine adequate inventory levels, forecast based on historical purchase data analysis, propose new strategic purchasing decisions, and generate and maintain purchase orders. Review and approve customer sales orders in the CRM and work with the Production and Sales teams to support expedited orders or escalate issues with the Management team. Review the material status with the Production Supervisor to support the master production schedule. Engage and build supplier relationships, help source, approve, and set up new suppliers. Ensure terms and conditions are in place, negotiate costs and programs (blanket orders, safety stock, etc. ), reduce lead times, maintain the Approved Supplier List, monitor supplier KPI s (on-time delivery, cost, quality), expedite and escalate when needed. Create and maintain internal and approved manufacturer part numbers and structure bill of materials for outside processes. Supervise and work with the Buyer and the Warehouse Lead to support the internal teams, meet customer ship dates, enforce FIFO and date code traceability, ensure accuracy of inventory, perform cycle counts and year-end physical inventory and reconcile discrepancies. Coordinate and prioritize the incoming receiving inspection requirements, help maintain the receiving inspection log, work to resolve and disposition non-confirming materials with the Quality and Engineering teams, request RMA s and follow through with corrective action verification. Compile and reconcile month-end inventory reports (inventory in multiple locations), regularly measure and monitor KPI s (supplier performance, PPV s, inventory levels, ect ) and help the Finance team resolve invoice discrepancies. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience, APICS certification desired. 5 years of relevant experience with electronics component and printed circuit board assemblies or in communications or aerospace defense industries. 3-5 years of ERPMRP software experience, preferably Misys. Production planning and scheduling experience required. Project Management experience highly desirable. Proficient in excel. Must be able to work independently and effectively multi-task in a demanding environment. Some domestic and international travel required. Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident due to clients under U.S. government contracts. Ability to pass background check.
