We are looking for a Merchandise Manager who is an expert in visual standards.

You will drive our sales through promotion of our brand identity while maintaining a pulse on trends across the ever-changing cannabis landscape, evaluate competitor activities, economic indicators and overall market trends.

What you’ll do:
Establish our overall operating model as it pertains to buying, planning, store allocation and replenishment to achieve our merchandise strategy and goals

Work closely with our retail partners; guide assortment, inventory, and pricing decisions in partnership with operations and finance teams to drive revenue while maximizing margin

Develop data-driven strategies which drive growth, to meet customer needs and maximize sales

Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Operations and other key areas to develop lead sources, expand the customer base, and ensure that product availability meets customer demand

Hold regularly scheduled reviews with the sales team to discuss account reports, new opportunities, customer issues, competition, industry updates, new product information

Meet established key performance indicators (KPI‘s) for assigned region and track metrics on sales, pricing, accounts and merchandising

Develop leads into opportunities by nurturing relationships, understanding client problems, involving the correct decision-makers, and helping clients understand our product offering

Execute and maintain the visual and merchandising display strategies of the company to ensure proper representation of the brand and an enhanced consumer experience

Interpret the THC Design direction and current trends through in-store presentation

Communicate supply need and deliver upward feedback to manager

Create brand guideposts and product launch assets for in-store merchandising and service offerings to support commercial objectives

Share best practices and learnings to ensure optimal brand positioning and placement within retail locations
What you should know/have/be:
Focused, with the ability to set vision, gain alignment, influence cross-functional teams, and inspire our Merchants around shared goals

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects at once

Ability to communicate cross-functionally, build relationships and influence peers and superiors

Proactive and take the initiative to drive business and think outside of the box
What will make you stand out from the rest:
Knowledge of retail business fundamentals including sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotional strategies

Four-year college degree or equivalent required, MBA preferred

10+ years of merchandise planning experience

Strong financial and business acumen with the proven ability to build financial plans/forecasts, and communicate and explain complex financial data

Cannabis industry knowledge preferred
