Interim Unit Director Emergency Department

Summary

A California Medical Center is seeking an experienced Interim Unit Emergency Director to join their team!

The Position

The Interim Unit Director Emergency Department will be responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of a 41 bed Emergency Department in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Emergency Services, this leader will oversee a team of 220 FTEs.
This leader will be expected to establish a culture of safety, diversity, and equity within the department. They will also be expected to assist in conflict resolution matters alongside supplementing and implementing day-to-day transformation.
The ideal candidate will have previous academic medical experience, Magnet is highly preferred. Must be a collaborative, innovative and flexible leader. Nursing Professional Leadership certification is a plus.
BSN required; MSN preferred. Active CA RN license required.
Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

In a standard Interim Leadership arrangement, the client pays for travel home every other weekend.
The client will also provide you with a rental car, as well as lodging that is clean, safe and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
