Clean Harbors is hiring an InSite Supervisor to oversee daily environmental field operations at multiple client sites.. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where you’ll be out in the field, ensuring technician work is done safely, correctly, and on schedule.
You’ll report to the Compton branch daily, but your work will take you to various client locations including Long Beach, Huntington Beach, and Seal Beach.

- Operate a Class C commercial vehicle for the shipment of hazardous waste and complete daily driver logs as required by DOT and PHMSA
- Supervise a team of technicians at customer sites
- Ensure day-to-day work is performed safely and meets Clean Harbors and client standards
- Coordinate and assist with lab packs, waste profiling, shipping, and manifesting
- Manage daily field activity, scheduling, and problem-solving in real time
- Communicate with Clean Harbors and customer leadership to report progress and issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Set up and manage shipments from start to finish, including paperwork and billing
- Report to Compton branch office daily and collaborate with branch team
- Flex between technician tasks, client coordination, and supervisor duties as needed
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in hazardous waste, field services, or environmental site work
- Previous field leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Class C Commercial Driver’s License required
- Must have a clean driving record
- Flexible schedule — role averages 60+ hours/week, including 5.5 days/week (weekends as required)
- Comfortable with early start times (5:00 AM or earlier)
