Job Details:

Baar Baar LA is looking for a service-oriented Restaurant Manager to provide support to the General Manager and help oversee our popular, high-volume restaurant.

Located in the heart of Downtown LA, Baar Baar LA is a fast-paced, high energy & lively environment, with elevated food, drink, and Hospitality that keep the restaurant busy every night.

 Much like the ingredients Chef Sujan sources, the restaurant is likewise committed to procuring high-quality talent and fostering a culture of respect, inclusion and personal and professional growth. 

Manager duties include handling restaurant operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, coordinating employee scheduling, monitoring regulation compliance, supervising and developing team members, and promoting the restaurant brand.

The ideal candidate is skilled at handling interpersonal communications, managing teams, and creating a distinctive, memorable experience for each and every guest that walks through our door.

In addition to these skills, the ideal Manager understands how to be level-headed, professional, and fair. They will confront many day-to-day variables, such as managing a range of personalities, keeping up with our ever-evolving menus, and the need to come up with unique, innovative solutions on the fly. We are looking for someone experienced, knowledgeable, passionate, responsible, and—most importantly—authentically themselves.

Hospitality is our. biggest and truest definition of what we want our company culture to be. 

Working Conditions and Expectations:
• Work schedule may require weekends and holidays, early morning and late evenings.
• Shifts will range from 9 – 12 hours.
• Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
• Fast paced, crowded, loud environment. 
• Always act in a professional manner that represents the restaurant, owners, partners and staff. 
• Demonstrate teamwork in all areas of the restaurant
• Work with a positive attitude in all types of situations
• Strong, positive and respectful communication skills
• Follow safety and sanitation rules and laws at all times
• Always act in the best interest of the restaurant, fellow employees and guests.
• Create, maintain a positive, safe and productive working environment
• Coaching and mentoring staff to develop a team and encourage promoting within.

Applicants must have previous experience in a high volume restaurant; prior management experience required. We are seeking passionate people with a strong knowledge of food, beverage and hospitality. If you have high standards for yourself and the employees you lead, we want to meet you!
