We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr.
Level HR Generalist/Manager that will be an essential player with a very important client in the travel industry.
This position is an onsite business partner at a large hospitality service organization based in LAX.
Must be a trusted source for both the client and the outsourcing firm.
Reports to the Internal Director (at the outsourcing firm) and supports the client executive leadership team and local client management.
This position must be available during lounge operations from 2pm-10pm and may include weekends.Duties include:Overall account management support acting as a liaison for the client to the outsourcing firmOnsite employee relations supportAssistance with employee engagement programsOnboarding and recruitment supportTraining, such a leadership programsBenefits strategy, enrollment support, general inquiries, etc.Risk Management: coordinate and assist with the implementation of serviceMust have:A minimum of 3 years of exempt-level, progressive human resources management experience, with prior experience in recruitment, employee engagement and employee relations.The ability to collaborate with those around themA strong commitment to doing what’s right, ethical, and can maintain confidentialityA commitment to service, both internally as well as externallyComprehensive knowledge & understanding of employment laws and regulationsThe ability to communicate, verbally and in writing.Technically proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systemsMost importantly: Strong relationship management skills; ability to provide consultative advice to business leaders, and to interact with senior leadersNice to haveExperience as an onsite HR Account Manager with a PEO or past PEO experience in a similar role.Experience as an HR professional in the hospitality or airport/travel industry particularly helpful.
