JapanLA is hiring an E-Commerce Fulfillment Manager to join our team!
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Seeking an E-commerce Fulfillment Leader to support the explosive growth and opportunities for the shipping team for a Japanese lifestyle products retailer, e-commerce, and livestream business.
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Lead, develop, and manage processes and workflow enhancements, the communication and administration of inventory management, order processing, shipping, personnel, and customer service efforts of the company.
Provide superior leadership to support the company’s goals and needs of partners to increase sales and ensure the prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of customer orders.
DUTIES: Implement system improvements, KPI’s, integrations, programs, and procedures for order processing, inventory control and employee development.
Identify underperforming KPI’s and implement solutions that leverage tools, programs, and resources.
Manage Customer Service, Shipping, and Inventory Management staff to ensure accurate processing of orders within 48 hours, maintain service levels and ensure functions are being performed accurately and promptly.
Promote the satisfactorily resolution of Customer issues, while responding to inquiries within 48 hrs.
Administrate the personnel recruitment process, screen candidates & support recruitment of new employees.
Attract, hire, train, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team of top talent.
Develop, schedule, and provide training programs for staff.
Update Employee handbook via regulatory and procedural requirements as needed.
Provide overall Human Resources support in all areas of training and performance.
Administer employee healthcare plan.
Maintain and execute cleaning programs and inventory controls per company standards.
Protect company assets and minimize loss according to standards and operating procedures, including workplace safety, controls and loss prevention.
Maintain frequent communications with all interested parties.
Provide regular reporting to management, attend meetings as requested, and participate in strategic planning for company expansion initiatives.
Other requests as specified from time to time.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Minimum 3 years warehouse management operations experience.
Knowledge of UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Mgr, MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic accounting.
Familiarity with Japanese pop culture titles and products.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal communications, and presentation skills Customer Service oriented with a problem-solving mentality Must be highly savvy and efficient with computer and internet use Motivated to do well and grow in the workplace.
High attention to detail.
Strong organizational and analytical skills to oversee and prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
