Director of Sales Operations – Remote

We’re looking for a Director of Sales Operations to proactively lead the operation and optimization of our sales processes.

DIRECTOR OF SALES OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build, monitor and refine the customer lifecycle system across process and technology to ensure optimal customer experiences.
Daily connection with both sales management and marketing leadership, using these daily connections to serve as the conduit for progress and transformation within the Marketing and Sales organizations to help teams improve.
Develop and maintain lines of communication between multiple departments being able to absorb, organize and address feedback from both the consumer perspective and sales team perspective.
Bring a strategic vision to life by writing briefs that include goals, objectives, KPI’s, and requirements.
Manage day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of issues as it relates to Sales and Marketing.
Manage and maintain departmental documents, trackers, and spreadsheets, pulling actionable insights from the data.
Direct oversight of CRM manager.

Must direct and audit their work, deeply understand the workflows.
Model data, interpret data, create reports and visualizations, and forecast expected outcomes.
Bring a strategic vision to life by breaking down the tasks required to help the business understand the data that drives their business.
Present information gathered to senior management across various lines of business.
Automate data-based solutions, focusing on automation as a means to increase conversion.
Monitor key performance indicators across a variety of marketing channels and help the business translate these indicators into meaningful action.
Communicate and liaison with senior sales leaders to help them interpret and understand the results of their business, identifying key actions or events that led to results.
Monitor KPI’s, metrics, and reports to identify small and large scale trends as they are happening.

DIRECTOR OF SALES OPERATIONS SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Analytical and results driven.
Background in business controls, process design and implementation
Knowledge of Marketing Analytics and understands key marketing and sales metrics.
Ability to develop a program framework by providing strategic direction, understanding key priorities, defining roles & responsibilities, and outlining a comprehensive roadmap.
Emphasis on customer-focused solutions that drive efficiency and promote growth.
Has the capability of understanding data and turning it into meaningful and powerful narratives to help teams grow.
Uses data and analytics to form an objective reality of success and then is able to create visualizations that build a narrative around the facts.
Understands inside sales.
Thrives on creating order from confusion.

DIRECTOR OF SALES OPERATIONS SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years experience within marketing and sales and can demonstrate revenue impact.
3+ years demonstrated experience in creating/maintaining sales and marketing KPI’s and dashboards.
Previous marketing analytics experience preferred.

University Degree, Post Graduate qualifications in related field preferred but not required.
Knowledge of full funnel marketing strategies, marketing attribution, digital media, user engagement.
Previous experience in a sales or marketing required.
Software Expertise: HubSpot experience preferred.

DIRECTOR OF SALES OPERATIONS COMPENSATION
Starting Salary: $125,000-$140,000+ DOE
