Corporate Training Manager

Job DescriptionOur client is an innovative leader in smart water management solutions, based in Northern California.

They are growing very rapidly and are in need to a Corporate Training Specialist to develop and implement job-specific, product training and professional development curriculums.Note: This is primarily a remote role, but will require some occasional meetings at the Petaluma location for onsite trainings and strategy sessions.Responsibilities will include: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate training needs for corporate team members and product support.

Create and direct internal and external (customer-facing) seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions for new and advancing workflows for existing employees and customers (including channel partners/contractors).

Conduct needs assessments for existing and emerging products, and identify training requirements to build out product training, guided learning paths, and in-depth technology training catalogs.

Become a product expert, create training collateral for internal and external users and lead training for both sets of stakeholders.

Deliver engaging, interactive, effective training to adult learners.

This will include everything from new hire orientation to onboarding programs for customers.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, education, or related field.

7 years of experience as a Corporate Trainer or Training Specialist.

Track record of designing and executing successful training programs including, management training and leadership skills training.

Leadership/management experience to shepherd the training program direction and the other trainers to transform training function into an accelerator of growth.

Certification in adult education or corporate training is preferred.
