Effectively identifying and targeting clients to present customers with the most compelling and appropriate offer is central to our success. Whether through client partnerships, referrals from aggregators, social media advertising, email, or direct mail marketing, being able to identify prospects, and gather accurate data to determine the right product/rate/offer combination is crucial.

Freedom has embarked on a Credit-Based Marketing journey that relies on broadening our ability to access data (both credit and non-credit) and simultaneously developing the technical ecosystem to utilize that information to maximum effectiveness in our marketing campaigns.
We seek a strong program manager to manage our suite of Credit-Based Marketing programs. To be successful, you are someone who pays attention to details and has successfully managed the priorities, requirements, and timelines of multiple cross-functional projects concurrently. You can articulate and understand strategy, plans, and requirements driving understanding and alignment among business partners & data vendors to achieve a common goal. You are comfortable and highly effective in bridging gaps between IT, Analytics, Marketing, Credit Risk, Product, Sales, and Business constituents to help find common ground, drive clarity, and promote understanding across teams.
You have experience and a thorough understanding of various marketing channels (e.g. direct, partners, and digital). You have deep knowledge of working with the credit bureaus and with credit data. In particular, you have experience managing or interacting with high-volume, high-frequency direct marketing campaigns. You are forward-looking with a keen ability to anticipate challenges that the project team might face and would proactively collaborate with the cross-functional team to remove obstacles and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain priorities, requirements, and timelines of all Credit-Based Marketing programs across the enterprise, such as our Direct Marketing campaigns, the implementation of our analytical and marketing platform, the development of new prequal solutions for our Partner channels, and the deployment of new online acquisition flows
– Ensure on-time and flawless execution of our Direct Mail campaigns across each BU
– Maintain a pulse on the health of our Direct Mail programs and keep track of overall program performance to plan
– Coordinate closely with the Credit Bureaus, Data Science, Analytics, Credit Risk, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
– Develop and maintain detailed process flows of all of our Credit-Based Marketing programs
– Maintain a pulse on all bureau-related activities and spending across the enterprise and conduct invoice reviews and reconciliations
Requirements/Characteristics: The Credit-Based Marketing Program Manager will be an important individual contributor to our organization and will report to the Vice President of Credit-Based Marketing. The programs that you manage and execute will be critical strategic levers for Freedom and have the potential to drive substantial revenue growth and create significant enterprise value
Requirements:
– 3-5 years of experience in marketing, analytics, product, and/or risk performing program and project management functions, ideally with experience managing or interacting with high-volume, high-frequency direct marketing campaigns for financial products or other highly regulated consumer products
– Experience working directly with credit bureaus and/or credit-based lenders or lending marketplaces
– Experience driving campaign management and/or product management processes with demonstrated ability interfacing directly with end-users (e.g. marketing channel managers, analysts, data scientists, etc.)
– Strong business acumen coupled with outstanding project management, analytical, and communication skills
– You can make pragmatic trade-offs based on business context and time constraints
– Experience driving and overseeing improvement, technology deployment, implementation, and adoption of new systems in demanding environments
– A can-do attitude, always looking to drive improvement of program processes
– Attention to detail, curiosity, creative problem-solving skills, and a desire to continuously improve
– An upbeat, optimistic, and infectious personality with a growth mindset
