Instructional Designer

We are seeking an Instructional Designer that has experience with online education as a student (helpful) and/or as a teacher (preferred).

A strong candidate will have excellent organizational, project management, collaboration, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Canvas and Design Tools.

HTML5 coding is not required but helpful .

Importantly, a strong applicant will also demonstrate an appreciation for the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a desire to live those standards in all areas of life.

If hired, an applicant should be willing and able to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission , Honor Code , and Diversity Statement , and exhibit a passion for bringing faith
– and character-enhanced educational resources more to K-12 students and families around the world.

Specific job requirements include: Designer will complete a wide variety of instructional design and development assignments such as, but not limited to, the following: a) Develop online courses in the Learning Management System, b) Enhance online courses with DesignPlus tools, c) Develop interactive activities with H5P, d) Develop worksheets, assignments, question banks, etc., e) Attend meetings to receive/report on assignments as needed.
