Position Responsibilities Include:Manage employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production EngineeringDevelop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectivesAcquire resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManage, develop and motivate employeesManage and lead process improvements and process capability projects This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
An interim and/or final U.S.
Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Design Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in engineering or leadership experience in a space related field5+ years of experience in statistical data analysis, process control, process capability, and/or failure mode analysis Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience with overhead management, rate management, and the capital process5+ years of experience with design and manufacturing engineering, manufacturing planning, assembly integration and test, including industrial engineering concepts Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
