Associate Director Supply Chain Business Systems

Job Summary We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our Operations team in Westlake Village, CA!

The Associate Director Supply Chain Business Systems is responsible for the development, ongoing lifecycle management and deployment of the business systems landscape supporting commercial and clinical programs in the Operations function.

The successful candidate will be part of a cross functional technical team including IT, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain working to define and implement systems and technologies to support business processes and build capabilities to launch Arcutis’ first commercial product.

This individual will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguities, and drive results to ensure delivery of supply chain business systems milestones.

Roles & Responsibilities As part of the functional leadership team, contributes to the formation of supply chain business systems strategy; through specialist expertise and insights, challenges that strategy to ensure it meets overall customer and Company business needs.

Be the business SME (subject matter expert) for installed TraceLink EPCIS instance and for planned ERP system selection, design, implementation and on-going operation.

Collaborate with business partners to identify and prioritize areas for opportunity, develop the business system technology strategy with focus on scaling the business for new commercial products including serialization strategy development and implementation.

Gather and refine requirements, determine options for solution design, delivering enhancements, integrations and contributing to technology-driven projects and initiatives.

Lead and manage Supply Chain Master Data Roadmap, inventory management, planning and other software solutions, ensure Regulatory and Financial compliance and ensure system solutions are implemented based on business process needs and defined requirements.

Proactively offer solution ideas and potential business process improvements in pursuit of driving efficiencies and meeting business needs through systems implementation.

Conduct and participate in requirements gathering.

Develop and document functional requirements for business solutions.

Measure and enhance supply chain performance and technology usage to achieve operational excellence.

Troubleshoot systems issues, identify problems and develop practical solutions.

Support systems release through SOP development, documenting changes, developing training manuals, and support change management process for new business systems Implements and drives adoption of supply chain information management systems and processes to plan, reviews and reports activity and outcomes across the supply cycle; collects and analyses key performance and control information, to drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

Manages and reports on the performance of the supply chain team; sets appropriate performance objectives for team members and holds them accountable for achieving these.

Takes appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team and personal objectives.

Contributes to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs,issues and concerns, and reacting to these by creating and conveying information to promote understanding and commitment.

Education & Licenses and Experience Bachelors Degree required.

Masters Degree preferred.

10+ years of business systems Supply Chain experience in FMCG, CPG, pharma, biotech or similar JIT supply chain environment CSCP or CPIM certification a plus Additional Competencies & Skills Demonstrated ability to translate business needs and functional requirements into technical orprocess-driven solutions Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; scientific and/or technical knowledge pertaining to pharmaceutical development or operations Strong technical aptitude with analytical and interpretive skills Demonstrated project and team leadership skills Ability to adapt well under pressure; acts proactively in a complex and rapidly changing business environment with little supervision Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and responsibilities simultaneously and follow-through on issues in a timely manner Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficient in the use of business productivity software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Arcutis requires all staff in the United States to be vaccinated and boosted from COVID 19 as a condition of employment.
