Job Description:
Transportation Account Manager of ABM’s Employee Shuttle bus Operations is responsible for the direct oversight of shift managers, supervisors, and front-line employees.
Employee is further responsible for ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met and that supervisors and front-line employees are complying with all safety, quality, and compliance standards established by the Company, by our client, and by regulatory authorities.
Essential Functions
Monitor and maintain staffing levels with the assistance of the local Human Resources Department.
Accommodate increased / decreased client staffing requests.
Ensure financial targets are met through effective scheduling and time management.
Effectively coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
Work with Regional Safety Manager to ensure the safety and security of the operation.
Set positive, professional example for workforce.
Authorize and approve the purchase of supplies, services and materials associated as needed to maintain operational efficiency and profit goals.
Responsible for analyzing reports and metrics in order to develop procedures to improve service.
Conduct unannounced personal inspections at various times to ensure service standards and contractual obligations.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and other managers.
Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure SOX and DOT compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
5 years of customer focused experience.
3 years of budgeting and expense control and scheduling.
Proven ability to manage groups of 50+.
Leadership personality, client facing.
Ability to work flexible hours to monitor and manage various shifts.
Excellent communication.
Driver’s license, CDL preferred
