This role is based on an annualized salary but is paid hourly and pays overtime for anything over a 47.5 hour week. The position is accountable to the GM.
Job Duties:
- You make regular inspections to observe quality of food preparation and service; food appearance; and cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas/equipment; and employee appearance.
- You conduct line checks/tasks list and safety/sanitation walk-throughs on each shift.
- You utilize Food Safety Programs to ensure safety and sanitation throughout the restaurant.
- You oversee product purchasing and manage culinary budget.
- You drive a culture of building sales through great execution and building profits by focusing on the details.
- You love to motivate your team through praise and recognition.
- You ensure teammates have the proper tools to succeed.
- You are familiar with ordering/inventory processing and payroll.
- You can identify talent within and outside of the restaurant.
- You like hiring, developing, evaluating and performance management of the culinary team.
- You like maintaining a budgeted food cost & daily/weekly inventory levels.
- You like creating teammates schedules while adhering to forecasting and budgeting guidelines.
- You communicate clearly. You write well. You speak well. You can explain just about anything to anyone
- You prepare thoroughly and strive for perfection.
