YESS RESTAURANT
We are seeking commited and curious cooks for the recently opened YESS Restaurant. YESS has a fully open kitchen, led by chef Junya Yamasaki, with a custom charcoal grill and wood fired range. The cooks work in tandem with the servers as one team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook dishes from start to finish
- Expidite Services
- Ordering and Farmers Market runs
- Input to daily changing menus
- Open fire and open charcoal grill cooking
- Learning new techniques – emphasis on ike jime fish, whole animal butchery, produce storage conditions, traditional pickling
- Opportunity to learn deeply about local seafood, wild mushrooms and Japanese cooking/culture
- Communicating and collaberating with FOH staff before and during service
- Assuring clean and efficient BOH work areas
- Support fellow team members and foster a positive work environment
