Xeikon Press Operator Manchester, CT-Full Time Allied Printing is a full-service commercial and financial printer that has been in operation since 1949 and are a print-media solutions provider.
We have robust sheetfed, web, digital press capabilities, the largest bindery/finishing area in New England, mailing, fulfillment, kitting, Print-on-Demand and variable data capabilities.

Job Summary: The Xeikon Press Operator will be responsible for operating digital high resolution color printers.
Duties/Responsibilities: Program and prepare jobs for printing.
Adjust image position, color quality, and resolution.
Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
Follow quality and training expectations as stated under ISO 9001 Certification.
Learn about digital printing and basic troubleshooting.
Required Skills/Abilities: Basic computer skills Detailed oriented, quality focus driven, and problem solving skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly to ensure accuracy of the job order.
Team oriented Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
Education and Experience: High School Graduate or equivalent.
Allied Training: 3 months.
Physical Requirements: Standing-50%, Walking-50%, Lifting 50 lbs.
