Will manage transition of strategic sourcing & re-sourcing projects through to FAI approval aligning with sites on production handover.Job Core Responsibilities* Supports the development and implementation of commodity strategies for allocated sites, ensuring conformance to Meggitt policies, processes and direction.* Manages source change & sourcing activity from idea generation through to FAI approval & production handover adhering to agreed processes and resolving issues that arise in an effective and timely manner* Carries out supplier research, evaluation & selection and to continually strengthen our supply base and ensure we are matching opportunities with appropriate suppliers.* Develops and negotiates contracts as required and manages enforcement of contractual obligations with suppliers within allocated commodities.* Works within the regional team to deliver against agreed KPIs supporting our wider procurement strategy* Works with internal stakeholders to ensure we are identifying opportunities to drive down cost, eliminate the risk of adverse PCV and drive optimum supply chain performance. Supports resolution of cost, quality and delivery issues within the site & regional team as requested.* Within assigned commodities, supports development of strategic relationships & leads/participates in supplier account reviews* Operates effectively in a matrix organisation, ensuring alignment across sites, divisions & other commodity teams working collaboratively to deliver against wider business objectives* Review performance data related to purchasing effectiveness and take a role in driving corrective actions where necessary.
