Our client has a natural connection with organizations working to improve people’s lives through progress in medicine and health care. They gladly support the communities where they live and work, donating around $1.8m annually through our their philanthropy programs. They are seeking a Material Handler for their Van Nuys location.

Responsibilities:
Generate, track, and review production documentation including batch records and forms in a timely manner.
Utilize production software applications for use in production documentation review.
PIT operations to move raw materials, paste inventory, and bulk products.
May perform other duties as assigned
Perform removal of hazardous waste.
Maintain Fractionation area housekeeping
Empty trash containers and maintain an adequate amount of cleaning supplies.
Supports all local manufacturing operations.
Supply components, small parts, tubing, etc.
Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
Manually clean portable equipment and small parts.
Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion.

Working hours: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Skills:
Good written and verbal communication skills
Math and computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Chemical Handling
Must have PIT experience
Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft products
Must be willing to work in cold/wet environments
Preferred experience with DeltaV, JDE, and EBM
Experience using JDE and Delta V or similar systems preferred.
Must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively.
Detail oriented and effectively organize documentation for review.
May perform other duties as assigned.
