Sr. Business Analyst

Job Description Advance Auto Parts, a leader in the automotive aftermarket, currently has an opening for Data Analytics Business Analyst.

As a Sr.

Business Analyst at Advance Auto Parts, you will have an opportunity to disrupt a $100B auto parts industry to bring better and faster solutions to customers.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to solve business problems by applying innovative solutions using data & analytics.

NOTE: OPEN TO REMOTE WORK within the EDT and CDT zone.

Specifically, you will: Be a single point of contact for all data & analytics needs for specific set of business & IT organizations Apply business knowledge and facilitative expertise to resolve reporting & analytics issues across one or more areas of the business and across multiple projects Lead information gathering sessions to understand current and potential customer needs Understand and translate business needs into business requirements (user stories and acceptance criteria) and associated activities Assist with managing the product backlog Work with business users & data architects to translate business rules into data transformation procedures Identify, create and exchange process design changes by conducting business and system analysis; focus on quality improvement/data management.

Develop process improvements eliminate processes, integrate new systems and processes with existing systems.

Partner with internal stakeholders and ensure the systems or processes provided meet the long-term business strategies.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience 8 years of experience in business analysis across multiple functional areas.

Retail Industry experience preferred Very focused on agile practices and must have worked on a true scrum team that was part of a product team Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels throughout the business.

Ability to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing to business partners Familiarity with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or other BI tools Understanding of and experience working in an Agile environment Experience using JIRA, SQL, Visio, Powerpoint and Excel Ability to work effectively with offsite business or technology partners Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation Independent.

Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Go-Getter.

Possesses strong, planning, execution and multitasking skills and demonstrated ability to reprioritize accordingly.

Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines
