Specialist Services Operations

The Team We are seeking a Specialist, Service Operations, to join American Tower’s U.S.

Tower division’s Services Programs team, within the Site Development organization.

The organization executes and delivers various product lines including customer services programs and new asset development, while also managing capital improvement and structural redevelopment projects across the Company’s U.S.

tower portfolio.

You will administer the life cycle of purchase orders (“POs”), conduct financial research to ensure issue resolutions for revenue-driving services programs, and analyze data to support financial forecasting and other critical business evaluations.

As a Specialist, you will partner cross-functionally with the Finance department to streamline and automate financial processes and implement reporting to ensure financial alignment and success for the revenue-driving services.

Come grow your career with us Job Requirements: What You Can Offer Us Manage, maintain, and enhance the vendor PO process for the site acquisition services business within the Site Development organization.

Collaborate with the Supply Chain, Accounting, Revenue Services, and Collections departments to research all aging, open, rejected, duplicate, and deleted POs and/or invoices; determine root causes and complete corrective actions.

Help create and maintain proactive plans to obtain all one-time fees owed by various customers.

Identify required fees, verify accuracy, and establish reporting to distribute to the Site Development team to drive receipt of revenues.

Support analyses of revenues and cost budget adjustments on all revenue generating services programs; work with the Accounting and Services teams to ensure correct project cost allocations and ensure that cost-to-budget requirements meet goals.

Analyze services project data, volume projections, and customer trends to support the Manager of Services Operations with national revenue forecasts, margin projections, and evaluations.

Work to streamline, automate, and document processes to ensure efficiencies and continuous process improvements.

As a Specialist, Services Operations, you are expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.

What You Need to Succeed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required .

Information management and data analytics experience required.

Expertise with Excel and experience with macros required.

A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience managing POs and budgets preferred.

Strong self-starter with the ability to drive projects to effective, timely completions.

Strong planning and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines.

Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.

Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

Approximately 10% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
