Position Summary:

A security officer provides safety, security, and customer service to the guests, tenants, and employees of the LA Live project, The GRAMMY Museum, and to the South Park Business/Community Benefit District.

Security Officers employed by AEG will assist local public safety agencies in the performance of their duties in providing service to the surrounding community as it affects L.A.

LIVE.

Essential Functions:
Serve as a representative and liaison of L.A.

LIVE, while demonstrating a professional, positive, polite and friendly attitude.

Tact and discretion must always be used in all interactions with campus guests and employees.
Patrol campus on foot and bicycle or PMV in some cases in and surrounding the facility.
Respond quickly to all security needs and calls for service.
Provide customer service to all patrons and employees.
Conduct regular inspections of all patrol and fixed post assignments.
Write reports, conduct completed staff work, interview victims and witnesses
Respond to crime scenes and ensure the scene is secured until the arrival of local law enforcement.

Conduct simple misdemeanor crime investigations.
Maintain safe and secure environment surrounding the venue.
Work closely with local public safety agencies to accomplish the safety and security goals of AEG.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
A minimum of 0
– 1 years of related work experience
Must possess a valid California Guard Card
Fluency in written and spoken English.

Must be able to communicate via a two-way radio in English.
Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality
Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information for incidents
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended time periods up to 12 hours
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours
Ability to ride a bicycle or personal motorized vehicle
Able to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds, as needed
Must be available to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
We are looking to fill the following shifts:
Must be available a minimum of 3 days and 5 possible shifts (Example, you are available Monday’s for Day and Swing (2 shifts) and Saturday’s for Day and Swing (2 shifts), and Sunday for Day (1 shift).

Hourly Rate: $18.25/Hour

Orientation will be online through Microsoft Teams.

Orientation is mandatory.
Training dates will be communicated and are mandatory.

We have controlled access with health screenings prior to entering, hand sanitizers throughout the facilities, frequent cleaning and disinfecting, and all team members must wear a face mask while performing their job duties.
